Where: Tasmanian Arboretum Presenter: Philip Milner 46 Old Tramway Road, Eugenana
The Arboretum was started in 1984 and planting commenced in 1986. It is owned by the members and managed by volunteers. Philip will guide the group around the 60+ ha property through the various geographical collections and talk about the history of its development and the earlier history of the property itself. The locality is also interesting geologically and the Arboretum’s lake is one of the most reliable places to observe platypus at most times of the day.
