When: Monday March 30 9.00 to 11.00 (1 session)
Where: 19 Edward St., Somerset
Presenter: Col Meyers
Capped: maximum 15
Come and practise your bird identification skills in an excursion to our ex-property near Somerset which has a lake and native bush. We should be able to see both bush and water birds. It will involve an easy short walk with lots of stopping, looking and listening. Please – no Hawaiian shirts or loud voices!!
Meet at 19 Edward St., Somerset at 9:00. No tea break. Bring binoculars, bird books and scopes if you have them.
How to Get There: DO NOT use your GPS, it will lead you up the wrong garden path.
From the Bass Hwy., turn south onto the Murchison Hwy (just the west side of the Cam River bridge). Travel about 2 km, continue through the intersection of the Murchison Hwy. with Back Cam and Old Cam Roads, then just 100 m past that, turn right into Edwards St. No. 19 is the last house on the right, painted a tasteful mauve by us.
