Visit Red Cow Organics, Certified Organic Dairy Farmers at Oldina who work with nature, feeding soil life, balancing soil minerals and improving the environment so that they work in harmony with nature. They milk Aussie Red cows who graze freely on pastures mixed with a variety of herbs, grasses and legumes. This creates the Organic Milk which produces the quality hand-made cheese on their own farm-house cheese factory. They love to be able to create cheeses directly from cows that have been selectively bred for cheese making.

Artisan cheeses are all individually hand made. Each cheese is turned and matured with care and is selected for its ripeness and maturity. The farm is free from Genetically Modified foods or additives, artificial hormones, preservatives and antibiotics.

Nothing is changed or taken from the milk is as it comes from the cow. All calves are hand-raised on the farm, fed with fresh cow’s milk and cheese whey direct from our cheese making that day. This creates a natural recycling of nutrients and minerals back into our farming cycles.

We encourage a natural way of farming and all our animals are cared for with love and admiration. You will love our cheeses that we make including our Persian Feta, Tilsit and our Soft Ripened Brie. The tour includes a $10 morning tea with cheeses to try and buy. The visit will go ahead regardless of weather, so wear or bring gumboots or similar, umbrellas etc.
